roofs and gardens...
this past sunday my parents were in town and we visited the met roof for the Doug and Mike Starn bamboo installation and then we headed up to 105th street to visit the Conservatory Garden, a part of Central park....
both very different, both very beautiful on a gorgeous day, and both well worth a visit
the bamboo exhibit is only up for a limited amount of time (it's cool but the cool factor only lasts for so long) but the Conservatory Garden is worth visiting anytime (spring, summer, and fall being the best) and it makes you feel as though you are in a European garden....
