a dear friend, mentor, and yoga teacher recently shared this translation of the Tryambakam Mantra (also known as Mahamrityunjaya Mantra) with me....
Dearest destroyer of all things destroyable,
May your vision help nurture our growth by turning what
No longer serves us into delicious compost,
so that our souls may bloom with love.
May we be released from suffering into the presence of peace,
Just as the melon sets free the vine when its ready to be consumed;
So that the vine may, like us, continue on by nurturing growth in its everpresent form.
May your vision help nurture our growth by turning what
No longer serves us into delicious compost,
so that our souls may bloom with love.
May we be released from suffering into the presence of peace,
Just as the melon sets free the vine when its ready to be consumed;
So that the vine may, like us, continue on by nurturing growth in its everpresent form.
