last night i saw the Credo concert at the Church of St. Paul as part of the White Light Festival put on by Lincoln Center and in this case, Wordless Music Concert Series.  The night included: the Hilliard Ensemble, the Latvian National Choir, and the Wordless Music Orchestra led by Jeffrey Milarsky built on the orchestral arrangements of Sigur Rós lead singer Jón Þor "Jónsi" Birgisson in collaboration with the musician Alex Somers. The evening also includes new works by Sigur Rós keyboardist Kjartan Sveinsson, one of which features text by Canadian poet Anne Carson.

it was absolutely beautiful and transported you to another dimension as the music filled the church and overcame you...in was certainly unforgettable... and in no way could pictures or a youtube video truly capture the experience but....

storm king

my second annual fall visit to Storm King (last year my fall visit must have been a week or two earlier because the foliage was a bit past its prime compared to last year, but it was still beautiful!)....
